Are the side of the side markers supposed to light up?

Are the side part of the side markers supposed to light up when the headlights are turned on or are they merely reflectors?

the very inside edge of the side markers (where the turn signals are)
are NOT supposed to light up...the lights beside the headlights are
supposed to light up.

hope this helps.

Half of it is a reflector and half of it is part of your directionals. They don't come on with your parking or headlights, only the front part illuminates, the side will flash with the front when you signal.

I don't think mine light up. What kind of bulbs do I need for these and how do I change them?
