I was wirring my cars corning lights I am installing on the fenders. I yanked the turns signal clear lens on the front bumper and wired the new fender blinkers with that wire. I fired it up and now my blinkers are blinking twice as fast as they were! Does anyone know what would have caused this? I have the car in pieces RIGHT now...so a response right now would be GREAT!

Thanks,
SHUMAX

problem

my friend had a similar situation with his 96 integra...after some searching and talking to a few mechanic friends, we found out that he had freid his relay for his his turn lamp, because he had wired it wrong initially. we rewired it, correctly, replaced the fried relay, checked all the fuses, and havent had a problem since....so check the relay, thats what causes it to blink twice as fast, and then check your wiring, making sure you didnt blow any fuses....good luck!!

A rapid flash frequency may be a sign of a burned out filament. Check your rear lights to verify that they are working. A blown fuse or disconnected wire would have the same effect.
