aamco disaster with their shift kit

tranny completely blew. everything welded together. so I brought to aamco, the tranmission specialists. my a$$. They rebuilt everything and put a kit in. 79 dollars since they had to some stuff to the vb anyways. $2280. rip off. they had my car for a week also. had something wrong with the rear drum. had to be taken in again for a second time. E veryhting work well until i floor it off the line. once it hits 6000 rpm it shifts down to 5000 instead of 4000, pulls a little then goes down to 4000. Does not feel right. I hate these people. no one go to aamco. They only warranty their crappy work 12 months also. should be 36/36. they also drove my car 50 miles that day. where the hell did they go? who knows.

Honestly, don't take this the wrong way, for all I know, it was shoddy work, but you gotta place some blame on yourself for this one.

The shift is slipping, go back and let them redo the valve body. It's under warranty 12/12, what ya waiting for?

You would have had better luck in jail trying not to get raped than going to Aamco.

But it is still under warranty right?
