question: what kind of springs does he sell? will he mount the springs on the struts if we buy springs too? (i am afraid of spring compressors for some reason).

 

i know for sure he sells Eibach springs which are ideal for car kits (great chance of no scratching), but i'll ask him if he would do that for anyone willing to go for both. Which springs do u prefer?

 

if the price is right... i have heard good things about eibach. another Q: could he do any sort of spring wrap to keep them quiet?

 

i'll be sure to ask him that too.

 

ok, well, after looking into it, i dont think he can do what i am asking (mount the struts) since that requires lots of parts currently on my car . BUT, i am still interested in what he can do as far as price for BOTH AGX and Eibach shipped of course.

If you can find a site, or thread on here (not) ebay showing these springs going for a certain price brand new, he will GUARANTEED beat that price not only cause he offers great prices but because you are buying more than one thing from him. Please post the thread/website/(NOT) ebay sale and price + shipping on here and he'll beat it as long as its legit. Reason why NOT ebay is because items can be stolen and sold.

 

I am in 100%. I REALLY would like to wait till the 28th for payment tho, but there are ways around it.

 

Polo, do you plan to doing the 5th gen mod yourself or do you have someone that can successfully do it for you? If so, let me know how much its gonna cost. I already have Eibachs and want the AGX's as well. Let me know. I might hop on numero quatro!

 

sup man...RBa told me that jeff at max tuning did it for him and for a buncha other people already so he's already experienced. the only difference for the mod is to get 4th gen strut mounts (which jeff can get for a good price) and do a little shaving. since jeff has done this already, i'm gonna have him do it. cost for installation and strut mounts together, about 200-220 (mounts are about $60). i haven't talked to jeff personally yet, but i plan to call him in the upcoming weeks, but this is the info that RBa gave me and since he's the last person i know that's done this, he would know best.

wow, this group deal is going MUCH better than i thought. The first 5 who have dibs will get this for 325 shipped. I dont want payments sent yet because i'm still waiting for price one eibach's and one of the people in the first 5 may want the combination. Once i get this price up, we can start the payments. Once the first 5 payments have been sent, the next 20 people will pay 330 shipped but can freely get them without a wait.

but you can fit 4th gens onto 5th gens with some modifications... a shop in NY does it...i would only trust a shop that's done it already.

i can say that i got the agx's for the lowest price shipped advertised ANYWHERE!!!

 

How well do these work w/ Intrax springs? I currently have Tokico w/ Intrax but wrecked my baby and am gonna need a new front drivers side strut. For this price I would replace all the struts if they'll work well w/ the Intrax. IF they don't then I'll probably just order the two front replacement struts from Cattman. Thanks for any reply.

 

i dont know how they would work wit intrax but i recommend posting on the 4th gen forum for better feedback.

Also, i got a price back for the eibach's. He's selling the eibach's for 250. I HAVE NO IDEA IF THATS A GOOD PRICE OR NOT because i know nothing about pricing on springs. I tried to do a search for eibach springs group deal and found nothing. Anyone up for this please post here. If you want a better price, please show proof, but this might be the best price out there for all i know....

that is not a great price at all, if he could beat, say, $190, I would do eibachs too, otherwise, just the shox. i will get a price, i forget where i saw it, but i saw new eibachs at a place, like adventon.com or something like that, and they were like $180.
