Will the splash guards for the 2000 max fit my 97 max gle?

I believe that they have different splash guards. My friend has a 2000 Maxima GLE, and his splash guards are totally different from those on my 96 Maxima. But I suppose you may fit them on your car with slight modifications.

I went to courtesy nissan and they did not have any.
