I have a 1994 maxima with the stock dohc engine. i wanna do a single fogger system of nos to get it goin but i wanna hear of some of the ideas you all have used to make ur automatic maximas quicker. my main goal is to be able to maintain in a race with a 5.0 5 speed mustang w/o nos then spray if i need to. A shot of NOS that big is gonna kill your tranny quick. Do a search for Aaron92se

you better hope its stock i got a buddy with a not so slow 5.0 and all hes got is intake header back exhaust and 3.73 gears and hes high 13,s if its stock you wont need much if you were a good running 5spd you might not need anything but a decent size nitrous shot would probobly do the trick although like stated before your trany will not like you

Well since a stock 5spd 5.0 Mustang runs around high 14's... you will need a lot of work since your car probably runs around mid 16's right now.

First off... get a cold air intake. www.warpspeedperformance.com

2nd, get a Y-pipe from www.warpspeedperformance.com

3rd, get a high flow cat and B-pipe from www.warpspeedperformance.com

4th, get a straight thru muffler

5th, get an ASP under drive pulley

6th, get a valve body recalibration and tranny cooler from www.maximumtuning.net

This setup will probably get you running mid 15's. Let me drive your car and I can get you running 15 flat.
