disable my stock alarm

disable my stock alarm

does anyone know how i can disable the factory alarm to my 93 maxima.
it has a keyless entry,

i cannot turn the alarm off using the key because the key will not turn in the door lock (lock may be frozen or broken).

is there any way i can disable the factory alarm with out usinf the key in the door lock

yeah you could open your trunk with the key and that should turn it off. i dunno about permanently disabling it though.

thanks for the help. another thing, bothe my drivers and passenger
door locks are stuck. i can slide the into the keyhole but it will not turn either right or left. would you happen to know what may cause this. it worked fine a few hours ago?

On mine (1989 5 speed SE) the alarm was "draining" my battery. Still not 100% sure what exactly happened, but some switch would stay on in the system and slowy drain my battery over a week (I was at school and only drove it on the weekends). I had a simple choice, get over $500 in repairs and not have it repaired for sure, or just pull the fuse. I chose number 2 and haven't had a problem since (over 30k and three years ago).

factory alarm

to disable the alarm for good go to the eng. compartment take the alarm pin for the hood out pill off both cables atack them together, afterthat the alarm will never activate again, unless you undo the cables again. any questions e-mail me espimax@comcast.net

how old and worn is your key? A worn key could be your problem with your locks.

The only reason I want to do this is because the 91 does not have damn door lock timers. If we did, I could just resolder the connections and PROBLEM SOLVED.

Someone please help. What could cause the door locks to automatically open on the models that do not have the door lock timers?
