Alright, I have the full clear set, outer portion only, I was wondering how to paint the clear portion 1/2red to match the inner one?????? I've seen a few sig posts w/ them, how do you do it?

 

First, you need to purchase some candy apple red transparent paint, from like a Home Depot or Lowe's. Then, you tape off the top portion of the light so that it does not get painted. Then you paint away the bottom portion of the light, applying about 2-4 paints of coat, be sure to let it fully dry in between coats. Patience is the key here. If you have any more problems, post back.

 

I think the clears look good with just the corners being clear, and leaving the inside red strip. Put them on your car and decide how they look before you decide to paint them because once you do, it's kinda hard to go back.

I think to do it RIGHT, you need to get a heatgun and take the lights apart and paint the inside parts. Takes a while, but looks good when you finish.

 

the cleanest look is the red/clear rear. you should paint the insides on the lights for the best look and they will last longer..

 

By using the heat gun, shouln't I just use it on the old lenses and take out the bottom part(red) and swithch it w/ the clear one?

 

That only works on 97-99!!! The 95-96 is one peace.....

 

That' what i thgouht but he insisted cuz the 95 is on e solid plastic piece......
