Hopefully they will file my 02 auto as a lemon

because it's ****ing me off i see all these 2k2 autos with 14.8's stock blah blah blah... and the best i've managed to run is 15.3. I ran 5 more times today and best was 15.418.

actually im jus wondering, most 6spd testers from magazines got 14.6 14.7. so wouldnt a auto atleast run like a 15 to 15.2 or so?

I think my car is a lemon. I have CAI and I only managed to get 16.6 im auto also. Im guessing i need a major tuneup for I am at 50k.

How are you launching? I don't brake torque, but I learned that flooring it from a standstill yields poor times from due to wheelspin. Also, you aren't running over the waterbox, right?

I suggest that you press the accelerator only part way and then floor once you're rolling. Since you have a GLE, I'd think that shutting off traction control would help on the times. No TCS on mine.

Best I've run is 14.91 stock.

Yeah, I've run 14.92 stock on a crappy track, brake torqing to 2300RPM

Oh well, "and so we learn".....Since my parts have not come in, I guess I will be stock again this Saturday. I'll see if proper race-prep and launches will give me better times....
