5speed owners what gear to dyno in ???
3rd or 4th.
3rd will probably give you more consistent results. In 4th, even though it's the closest to 1.00:1, it's a little tall (goes up to 130 mph) and the engine will probably get more heat soaked by the time you're up to high rpm's and result in less consistent dynos. The dyno will still calculate out power correctly even though you're in a lower gear.
If you're stock or just have bolt-on's, 3rd is probably best. If you're boosted and are making a ton of power, 4th might work a little better.
