99 SE-L FSTB-How did you remove that bracket that was in the way???

I finaly got my $12 FSTB in the mail from ebay. I tried using a big metal file to get it off seeing as that I dont have any power tools, but what is the best way?
Thanks,
Dan

I cut mine off with a regular saw, not a power saw either...it took a few minutes, but it can be done by hand.

Thanks for all the replys. I ended up using a saw, and then a file, to get it smooth. FITS PERFECTLY! I took it for a drive going around some tight corners, and didnt really feel a difference. Oh well, it was only $12 from eBay. Hopefully when I get the rest of my RSB parts, I can put that on and feel a difference.
