Has anyone else here ever replaced their rack&pinion? If so, did you replace it with a newer model unit? And again, if so, how did that work out?

I bought my rack at Autozone, and their systems show that there are two different racks, which are totally interchangable...well, mine old one is out, and it is the original, and the new one looks to be a 3rd gen style. I don't forsee any problems getting it in, and mounted, but I wanted to see if anyone else had done this, and ran into any issues.

Please respond ASAP, as I need to try and finish this up this next weekend...
