5th Generation Chrome Gauge Rings

I spoke with Igor at autoaccessorystore.com, he is willing to sell the rings to us for $15.00 + $3.00 shipping. All we need is at least 5 people, the parts will be available in 2 weeks. He originally wanted to do just 2 rings and I requested he do four(2 more for the smaller circles). He will do 4 but he is unsure on how it will look and how we will attach it. Let me know who wants it and I will contact him so that he can proceed, he doesn't want to waste material if at least 5 people will not purchase. Thank you. Mo.

are these direct fit or do we have to do some drimmel work on small rings?

He will measure the smaller circles himself, so it should be a direct fit. Its the same guy who provided us with the carbon fiber and aluminum bezels on a previous group deal a couple of weeks ago.

If they are an exact fit, at that price I will want a set FOR SURE!
As someone else said, I'll want to see someone else install them successfully and give a positive review first.

I will give Igor a call this morning when they open up and verify the fitment. He stated to me yesterday the 2 larger rings he knows will be an exact fitment because he has the rings that are already in 2k2/3's to measure from. The smaller rings he will have to measure so there is chance that a may be a fitment issue. He doesn't want to waste material making this for one person but I will ask him to make a set for me(quinea pig) and post pics. I will also verify if we can get this for 4th Gen guys.

Okay guys I just spoke with Igor, he needs a stock 5th gen and 4th gen bezel. If he can get somebody to ship him the bezel(s), he will make the rings and fitment will not be an issue. He only needs the bezels for 2-3 days and he will ship it back to you. If he has to purchase the bezels himself, he will add about $5.00 to the price. Payment: If someone sends him the bezels no pre-orders are needed, basically you can call him and the rings will be shipped within a couple of days. If he has to purchase the bezels himself, he will need the money first, and it will take about 2-3 weeks for you to recieve the rings. Let me know if someone can do this.

where is he located?
i don't think i mind giving him my bezel for him to work with.
and remember, 2k2 rings will be different size than 2k1, so we need TWO bezels...i have a 2k2.

Thanks Nikal for coming through for the 2k/2k1 guys. Polo, if you still want to, can you ship your 2k2/3 bezel to Igor. He was using a friends' bezel who lives in MD and he doesn't know when he will return to NY. If you can let me know. Thanks.

Oh yeah, this applies to 5th gen with 2K2/3 taillights: I will be shipping the taillight lens to a manufacturer who will make us a red/white lens to replace the ugly red/yellow lens. I will let you know how that goes in about 3 weeks.

i'm in queens, NY...does he want to meet up and take measurements, etc....
as far as tails go, very nice, although it would have to be a complete replacement of the tails and not just the lens since it is one whole piece. there is a way you can do it, i'm just too lazy to do it....i guess now that it's getting warm i'll do it. but i want to be first, so i'll have to beat you to it.

Polo,
Call Igor at 1-866-884-0550 and discuss it with him. We will see about the taillights. E-mail me at at mcobb@cbmi.com and we can discuss a joint effort so we don't make the same mistakes.

We need somebody to ship him a 4th Gen bezel for this to be available to you guys, other than that he will have to purchase one(who knows how long that will take) and the price will increase. 2k/1 and 2k2/3 guys can start placing the orders at the end of next week, he should have received the bezels from Nikal and Polo to make the measurements. Fitment should not be an issue because he will have bezels to take exact measurements. Mygray96SE, gunmetal is not available.

Yes Empz, you can place your order at the end of next week. We have to give him time to design and make the rings for you 2k/2k1 guys. He can't start until he recieves the bezel to make the measurements.
