Is this group deal for 5TH gen upper strut mounts??? I have 5TH Gen Cattman modified KYB AGX's struts with PROGRESS sport springs. *not installed yet* I just wanted to know if these upper strut mounts and/or rear upper strut mounts will be able to fit my suspension set-up??? I may be interested if this will fit my set-up.

This is for 4th gens...but there are people trying to do some research to see if it will fit a 5th gen.

 

It doesn't look like they will work on a 5th gen.

However, in the 5th gen forum, someone is talking with ME to get them made for us.

I wrote Motivational..and was informed that they don't fit the 5th gen to their knowledge...no further info for 5th gen's

 

when will we send out payment and when can we expect to recieve?

 

I'm talking to Mike at ME about possibility to make 5th gen mounts. I sent him diagrams of 5th and 4th gen mounts I got from DaveB. Looks like Nissan combined a mount and a buffer into one part. This might make it very expensive to make a . I'm still trying to locat a picture of the actual mount. worst case scenario, I'll buy one and send it to ME.

 

I have Ground control coilovers, do I need to get a pair from the rest of you guys or what.

I am interested in getting these but need to find this out first.

Hey guys, I'm interested in this group deal, but I need some answers before, first I want to buy a set of 4 KYB AGX, I know thoses have to be modified to fit a 5 th gen max, I know that 4th gen mounting plate are required also to install the KYB on 5th gen, so the question is will those mounting plate offered at 115$ will replace the 4th gen mount needed for the KYB, also do I need to buy modified KYB AGX like the one sold by Cattman or do I just buy the 4th gen one and install with this custom mounting plate. I'm interested in this group deal. I live in Canada and my postal code is H1A 2W8.

I paid a little while ago. I spoke to Mike on the phone. He said that once he received 10 payments, he will ship out the mounts for us. He also said that only 2 people paid when I talked to him, so I don't know if more paid by now.

I'm ready to buy, if someone can answer my questions, page 2 of this thread, I can pay right now ( in the next 10 minutes, by CC ) I want to install 4 KYB AGX on my 2k1, I already have Maxspeed spring just in case it may matter. I was told in order for the KYB's to fit a 5th gen max they need to be modified plus it require some 4th gen mounting plate or kit. If I buy the strut mount here do I need to buy KYB AGX modified or not. Any answer will be greatly appreciate.
