hey you guys...i just recently bought a APEXi N1 muffler....ITS FROM A NEON~!!!! i had it sitting in my car for about 5 days...i couldn't wait anylonger for my friends to gather money, so we can get custom piping.... i bought it cuz it looked kinda like it would fit the max...
it FITS~! kinda... its a too far IN under the car...about 6 inches from the edge of the car....i had to modify it just a little, cut the "hanger thingy" and use a couple gaskets and loosen it a little where it connects to the Bpipe...and i made different "hangers"....it sounded REALLY good...deep sound...no grumbling...and when i hit the gas, it duzn't get all high pitch lik ethe cheap crap on riced out cars...THE GHETTO ONES...like the..."waaaapppp bbah da~ dakk dakk da~ "

well im getting custom piping soon, i hope... and ill try to get pictures of it after the custom job...
unless you guys want it right now....i dont have a digicam so ill have to go to my frined....

oh btw....i have the turbo one w/ 114mm tip...4.5" i think....it looks pretty good, MAINLY cuz i have the stillen kit...

what do you guys think about it?

 

Wouldn't a turbo muffler be over kill on a N/A car???....

 

i dont think so...its just like the HKS carbon ti...well might as well be....its not overkill....it sounds smooth and deep...and its (turbo) b/c the piping is " 2.5"or 2.75"(i forget) piping instead of like 2.25"

 

I have a Apexi N1 in my 4th gen, and I like they way it sounds. No rice. I have the 2.5" inlet, and a 4" tip. Looks nice.

 

loox good...i can't tell if its angled or not...and it kinda seems like the N/a...man..i hope mine looks that good...

yeh, the n1 wouldn't look too bad on a max at all. my god sis gave me one in the past, but i sold it since i've already invest in dual borla carbon fiber tips.. i like the dual tips look alot better
