how does a vb mod give u more torque??

get a Y-pipe. get Nitrous. You'll loose torque with a intake.

Yeah start with a y-pipe. Best overall performance mod in my opinion. Then an intake. And maybe nitrous after that. Should be plenty of torque at that point. But if you want more, go with what Dixit said and get a turbo!

I am pondering getting a turbo on my 2k auto.

A CAI intake will also help out your low-end, but that requires creating some holes that don't exist in your engine bay.

go to http://www.nissanperformancemag.com they did a few mods to a 3.5 altima (same engine, hp, torque) and they have dynos to show the gains for each mod. they've done UDP, cat-back, and intake i believe. all showed gains, some quite significant. their car puts down around 265 hp and 275 ft/lbs now.

I can't imagine how you could install a turbo charger and have this auto tranny shift without hitting the revlimiter. I had to go back to my stock air box in cold weather to lower my hp/torque so I wouldn't hit the revlimiter. Raising hp raises shift points. I don't know that the valve body mod will lower shift points but until somebody comes up with programming to lower shift points I am maxed out on hp/torque.

I suppose now that warm weather is approaching I can re-install my K & N air intake system and bring my hp back up a little and it won't hit the limiter.
