It happened once again--I finally replaced the 21" Bosch blade on my passenger side because it's been streaking for a while. Lifespan? 4 months. On the left, the 22" Anco blade has been on there 6 months and is not streaking at all. Anco is $3.97, Bosch is $11.99.

I think it's gotta be something about the Bosch, possibly not turning over and sitting in the store. Because the package is all old-looking and dusty. It's a shame that the department store wont carry the Anco in the 21" size.

Are Bosch and Anco blades interchangeable?

In other words, can I put Anco blades in my Bosch wipers?

When I say the Anco is $3.97, I'm referring to the Aero Vantage--it's the entire blade including insert. At that price I see no reason to bother with inserts, and though they may say otherwise, I don't even see how the actual rubber can be taken out of the blade. The Bosch is a bit pricey, which I wouldn't mind if the rubber were more durable. But even alcohol wont seem to liven up the Bosch.
