I can look into the Carbon Fiber kits, I will get back to you all in a bit... For now we still need 3 more people for this deal to go.

DONT FORGET THAT THIS IS A SOLID ALUMINUM KIT. NOT THE CHEAP SYNTHETIC PLASTIC KITS FOUND ELSEWHERE.. ALSO EACH PIECE HAS 3M INDUSTRIAL TAPE BACKING AND INCLUDES 3M PROMOTER/ADHESIVE

i have the fake kit and bought it off of ebay for 135. For an extra 20 bucks, i would go back and get the real deal...

Mine came with like 30 pieces though....i see mine has SOMe pieces this doesnt come with. If possible, could those pieces be made???

I'm not sure... Are you talking about the door cup pieces? I am not sure if they can be ordered as an extra but I will check as soon as you respond and let me know what piece you are talking about...

Also if anybody is interested the Alum Gauge Bezel can be offered as well... Let me know on that if anybody just wants that.... Price is $38.69 with FREE SHIPPING

I TOTALLY AGREE THAT THE REAL DEAL IS BETTER THEN THE FAKE.... THAT IS WHY I STARTED THIS GD INSTEAD OF A $99 FAKE SYNTHETIC GD

Hey guys and gals. First off, thank you Tyler for setting this up. Unfortunately, we cannot get a better price than that, even if we have more people. This is the deepest the manufacturer would go on the kit.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call us any time.
Thanks
Alex

One more to go folks!!! (You guys rock)

And FYI, since Jeff at AP will be shipping them out via USPS Priority, he does not provide tracking numbers. So no worries, already talked to Jeff this morning, we are ready to go once the fifth person gets to us

Thanks again

Just so you know guys, Alex is now the only major shop carrying the real aluminum stuff. Custommaxima is no longer a dealer, they deal with the synthetic now.

And the kits are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, there are delivery confirmation numbers, but it's not quite as good as tracking. But it's 2-3 day shipping so it's fast.

Dude, you gotta read more clearly. eBay $98 kits are synthetic aluminum, ie painted plastic with a resin/epoxy coating. I can make one of those for like $35. What Alex is selling is a real aluminum kit, they cost us more than $98 to make. Retail price on this kit is $265+shipping. We sell them all day long for full retail. He's offering you an insane deal.

Kind of like if someone offers a GB on a Mercedes for $5K. You're going to jump in saying "I got my Pinto for $200 so this is a ripoff" Totally different things. A good portion of our customers have bought the cheap plastic kits and were not happy with them so they switched. You're happy with your plastic kit, so good for you. But don't call his buy a ripoff when you don't even know what it is.

couldnt be more true.... if you read the first page of this thread i state that this is not an EBAY kit, this is a REAL brushed Aluminum kit.......

dont remember who, but somebody on the first page has the ebay kit and said he would go back and get the real deal for $35 more if he had the chance now... just something to think about

It's all good. I just get defensive because every day we get people who ask "why is your kit so much, I can just get one on eBay". and they don't know they're not the same thing. So when I hear that, it sets me off.

IS IT TOO LATE?

I was looking for this kit, but was afraid I'd get the fake one. ALmost considered the slver C/F one. So is it too late or what?

Re: IS IT TOO LATE?

I would email either the person who started this thread or Alex at SWA.

I'm just the supplier, they're running the buy. But it's probably not too late.
