OEM spec hot, medium, cold spark plugs
OEM spec hot, medium, cold spark plugs
There's been lots of talk lately about different plugs in this forum. I was just at the dealership today. I found out that there are three heat rating for plugs that are speced to our cars. Too cold, and lack of power, too hot and it could burn up and fall into the engine. These are the plugs.
NGK PFR5G-11 <--standard
NGK PFR4G-11 <--hot
NGK PFR6G-11 <--cold
All these are speced to 98 maximas. These speced parts come from page 10-7 in our owners manuals and this website may be of help too.

I hope this helps for everybody who has been asking about plugs lately.
This may be worthy of adding to our 4th gen faqs.
