I checked my CV boots yesterday and found huge cracks in the valleys of the rubber boot. No grease has started leaking yet but I need to get on top of this very soon. I have '98 Maxima w/120,000 miles. To those of you who change your own CV boots, what kit do you guys recommend and where do you get them? I want the kind of kit that comes with the proper amount/type of grease. I would just replace the entire axle (as I did in the past) but I am on limited funds. Plus, I have plenty of free time and would like to learn more about my car over the weekend. Any suggestions??
