I'm sending her in for more surgery in a couple days, so I figured I'd take a few pics to post. It's been a boring rainy day and I had nothing else to do.

I think this is proof that the JT Autostyle rrear bumper looks good. I would STRONGLY advise against them though. I had to send 2 back that were cracked in shipment. The fitment is very poor. It took a miracle to get it to fit this well. You can see some gaps that need more work...

That's what I'm sending her in to do... that and finally mold in my 5th gen HIDs.

I love the 2nd Gen altezzas... MUCH better than the red/clears. The red/clears make the max look like a HonDuh. I need to finish molding them to the frame though.

Not bad at all. I still dont really like altezzas though, but they look much better than the first gen ones. I like the quad tipped dual exhaust. Its different, and looks good with the JT rear bumper since its meant for a dual exhaust setup. Do you have any pics of the front?

Not yet... I left those pics out on purpose. I'm getting more work done to make them look nicer first.

I promise I'll post pics when they're done.

Opinion: Styling ain't bad. Pretty nice looking.

Fact: Crappy *** fitment, and apparently quality as well.

The rear bumper was HELL to get looking even HALF decent. Lots of extra glasswork.

I REPEAT: DON'T BUY FROM JT AUTOSTYLE

... and I have these altezzas to be unique. Red/Clears look WAY to Hon-Duh. Altezzas may be common... but the LEDs are unique. The only ones in a college town of 100,000.

Man, I see them on EVERYTHING. Bugs, PT Cruisers, Camaros (WHY???), WRXs, Eclipses, many Toyotas blah blah.... Mostly Hondas, though.

If you like the look of Red/Clears... GO FOR IT! I think it's boring. I like this look FAR more. The circle of LEDs looks awesome at night with the WW spoiler LEDs.

hey everyone is different.. if we all liked the same thing .. we would all be driving S.M.A.R.T. cars ..

lots of people don't like my white rims.. but i love them.. so you keep doing your thing..

just saying all i see altezza's on around here are honda's.. maybe its because they are nothing but honda's around here

you are fighting a losing battle the truth is....

in the end it is a matter of opinion.......

here at Maxima.org don't ask or post unless you want negative posts about this or that trust me I know....and when you post or ask, you are setting yourself up for whatever they throw out, so be prepared....from me to you!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I know. I'm not fighting in the least. It's a waste of energy. I've seen many small-minded posts flaming people. Not that there are any in this thread. There are PLENTY things about my car that I won't post here becasue people would waste bandwidth slamming them... Like the 5th gen HIDs or the 15" LCD. I accidentally mentioned the HIDs. I'm surprised more people didn't accuse me of being a '5th gen wannabe' or something equally lame.

Fact is... I love the look... AND the SOUND! And so do the people in the local car clubs.

Just for the Record, I like the Altezzas, but the gaps in the bodywork kill me. Those LED altezzas are primo-cool...makes the rear end look like the Impala cop cars we have around here

the rears a lil busy for my tastes, but its still nice and different. That fitment does suck, good thing your getting it fixed, can WAIT to seet he 2K3 HIDs, that should definately set your Max apart. Im definately feeling the dual exhuast too, nice, i was planning on doing that as well, only with 2 tips, not quad, but decided against it. What muffler are you using for that? Flowmaster camaro style 80-series?

I really like what you've done to your altezza except the red corners but your a$$ look really (not talking about yours). The bumper doesn't look bad IMO but isn't the best. Dual twin exhaust look very sweet, wished I had the cash to do that much on my car, but still dreaming...
keep up the nice work man!

? You haven't seen these in person, have you...

This is 100% real. No Photoshop. I'll take whatever other pics you need to prove it.

Yes, I used a Flowmaster 2.5" transverse muffler.

What do you mean the covers are Photoshoped? What covers are you talking about?

I'm going to finish painting the altezzas so there is no plastic showing except the circle of LEDs and the center... After they are molded together (you'll see what I'm talking about in a few weeks.)

well that 'cocked muffler' style is not 'hon-duh' lots of Supras, RX-7s, Silvias, and I think Skylines, etc.. in JAPAN started that.....

although its not the best looking on that maxima...

i think the dual exhaust its not stupid. but i think the single exhaust with one of those huge looking muffler are stupid. because they have no concept on car like maxima. and what’s a point of single big pipe???? i would say if they do it right, the dual exhaust gives better performance. and it definitely make the car look good. and it should be quiet system. and in a way its unique. because most people have those single ugly looking pipe.

AgaricX: I love your car man. It looks really euro. The wing looks just right with the exhaust. (btw I LOVE it) and you did a great job painting those altezza's. The new Maxima has an exhaust like yours ('cept with 2 mufflers) and it looks great.

Overall I think your car looks great and you could win many shows with that thing. I think i'm in love with your exhaust. Good choice on the muffler too, btw.

Craig, I'm not one to kiss @$$... but you inspired me to do this exhaust. I saw yours and have been planning mine since.

I have never entered a car show... maybe I should.
