Just a few questions

Should I buy an intake off ebay? for like 75 shipped...or should i save my money and lower my max...i have 17's on it now and the wheel gap is horrifiic...but i also like the sound of an intake.......one more question..since search doesnt work...what is the pros of coilovers from southwestautoworks.com vs...some maxspeed springs and kyb agx's? I saw that the coilovers would be cheaper?? Tell me what you guys think......

The max's ride 4 x 4 stock, put 17's on it and you NEED a drop. Just like the max needs gas, it needs to be dropped. The intake isn't going to give you nearly anything, where as the drop will make your car look 3000000% better. I have Ground Controls on my car with AGX's and will NEVER again buy coilovers.... At least for sure not Ground Controls!!

There is my $.02

bad idea. your stock shocks can not handle all the added pressure of your new springs. if you do not get new shocks now, then expect your factory shocks to be blowen soon there after. so it is just better to get everything done at once rather then have to do it twice. also if you have not considered it yet, think about a rear sway bar... it is easyier to install when you are doing springs/struts.

never go cheap

it doesnt matter where you get something as long as you do your homework. now if i saw some no name piece of crap on ebay or anysite i would not come close to buying it just cause its cheap ..but if i saw a great deal on a great product i would give it a go ...

build your own intake and you should have enough money left over to do the drop. I have less than 50 bucks in my intake and it sounds different from everything in towm.

If i make an intake vs. if I buy the cheap one off Ebay...making it would probably be more fun and cost less but it will be a short ram style vs the "true" cai on ebay for just a little more dough...I agree that you get what you pay for on most things...BUT i go to miss state and I have very little money..yada yada yada...Thank you everyone for the suggestions and help
