Does the 95 Max come with a full size spare?
There is no fullsize spare on your car. A fullsize spare will not fit properly (it will leave the carpet seriously unleveled). Your best option to fit a fullzise spare is to redo the floor of your trunk with fiberboard by tracking the trunk mat. Then you will be able to fit a fullsize spare and maintain a level trunk floor.

you can use a factory 15 in steel with a 185/65r15 tire without effecting the floor of you r trunk.
the nissan steel wheels are 6.5in wide. if you can find a steel wheel with width of 5.5 or 6in it will fit much better.
width= didstance between the 2 rim flanges (with the wheel standing up)

I was wondering about this last week when I has a flat. It looks like there is enough space for a full size spare. Also, does anyone know what size the dounut is? Thanks.

I hate donuts. They throw everything off when they are in use. What you can do, like I did, is get a used 3rd gen wheel/tire. When I get a flat and use the 3rd gen wheel spare, the wheel size difference is not so great, and I'm using 17x7s with 225/45/17, so the steeering won't drag in any direction etc. And if you have a blowout on a long road trip, you can continue your trip completely on the 3rd gen spare.

Asian market Maximas/Cefiros have a full size spare.
The trunk floor is cut out deeper to hold the full size spare.
I honestly don't understand teh fascination with temporary spares that most auto companies insist on. I think most people would gladly pay the extra few hundred dollars to have a car engineered to carry a full spare. With all the corporate product safety liability lawyers out there, I'm surprised that temp spares aren't illegal.

Was a full size spare a option on the US Max? Also, does anyone know the speed rating on the donut? I bought my Max used, and it came with 225/60/15 tires. What width are my rims? Thanks.
