How do you deal w/Pollen getting on your car!

It’s the “Pollen Season” and it sucks to wash your car and 10 minutes after or while you are washing the wind blows Pollen right on your car!
Then you have to wipe you car down especially your windows again!

Here is my own Pollen Control!

what you can do it your a small time joe . give your max a good bath, clean her nice, and then just have the hose handy. twice a day you might have to make a pit stop and wash her off real quick...

Go to Home Depot

and buy a garage, or build yourself one.

California Car Duster. Dust off the car anywhere, anytime in about 3 minutes.

The worst is when it gets the yellow haze thing going on, then it rains for 5 minutes!!! ack what a mess!

A couple years ago on my old car I was able to get a coat of wax on her first thing in the spring and I found the pollen didn't stick as much... Maybe it wasn't a very polleny (new word) season that year, but in theory it should be true?

I just keep an old terry cloth towel in my trunk and dust it off whenever I get a chance. I wash it as often as possible. Seems like meguiers quik detailer just makes it stick more.

Exactly. Keep it in the trunk. And it beats a rag because it doesn't make hairline scratches (swirls). But don't use it if the car is wet/damp.

I reallyyy hate this pollen business. Especially on my BLACK maxi. Friday I washed her, took her for a spin a couple hours later, and next thing ya know - she's yellow! I'm gonna try out that California Car Duster - even though I'll be doing it every time I walk out to the car.

I live across the street from the University of Florida's beekeeping unit. None of you have any idea what pollen is... The only thing I can do is look out the window and cry. I would get a car cover but I don't want some drunks walking by (the complex is mostly students with lot of parties) and messing with it.
