Are you talking about throttle body? if so, all you have to do is take of your stock pipe whether if you have a aftermarket midpipe or the stock, then get some cleaner from a local parts store like pepboys and spray and wipe(brush, if you want to use a toothbrush)...

you can very easily remove it without damaging anything and clean in front and behind the butterfly and the main runner on the manifold as well...

expect some "potential" sputtering and perhaps some smoke til it gets the mess blown thru...

remember, past performance is not indicative of future potential...investment is risky and you can and may lose money

oh sorry that is my investing disclaimer...but it is relevant

I did this yesterday

I spent 2bucks on a can of valvoline carb, choke, throttle body cleaner. I disassembly was about 10 minutes, including searching for the right tool downstairs. I sprayed and rubbed with rags the inside of the TB and the gold plate. I did this until the rag came out relatively clean. I then reassembled everything. The car idles and starts up smoother. It's a good thing to do.

WoW, what a difference!!!
I'll start doing it twice a year when I clean My K&N.
Now my car idles at about 850 rpm's before it was like 600.

Make sure you know where all the hoses go when you disconnect everything. Otherwise it won't be fun trying to figure it all out.
