I remember when I was in 6th grade, regular was $.89

 

last week when i got gas at the Cheveron in San Francisco and it was $2.519. i got a full tank and now i wanna cry

 

i live in NYC but i get my gas in Jersey 2.29 compared to 1.69 ... hmmmmmm 1.69 is good stuff

 

That's still in Candadian funny money units though, no?

Converted to US currency based on today's exchange rate (1 USD = 1.48 CAD) that's => US $2.26/gal

Not quite, the prices I quoted were in Canadian $$, so a full tank costs me about $60 Canadian, which is about $40 US. Sounds like it's pretty close to what the people in Cali are paying. What I find upsetting is that here in Alberta we have more oil than we know what to do with, yet it STILL costs that much for gas! Frickin Canadian taxes......

 

I feel bad for all you people with the extremly high gas prices. At least the price is going down a bit.

That's approx $1.976US/US galllon (3 weeks ago, $2.279)

FYI, US gal. = 3.85 litres, UK(Canadian,Irish, Australian) gal. = 4.54 litres
