I have a 95 se, i have searched all over my fire wall for the vin plate, i cant find it. is it hidden? I am picking up cv axles today and i need to know weather or not i have a locking differential tranny, PLEASE HELP. THANKS

 

It is actually the vehicle id plate

 

Not is not goood, it should be on the passanger side near the top. it's about a 3 square inch piece of silver metal.

 

I just checked again, are there 4 round little plastic rivits on each side of it? if there are then my plate is gone.....any ideas on what i can do?

 

Do you have a stolen car?

The VIN is found in any door sill and in the trunk as well.

 

I have the vin number, i cat find the vehicle id plate, that has all of the option info.

 

Supposedly, according to the FSM, the tranny number is on the top of the bell housing, but I couldn't find it on mine with all the stuff in the way.

 

Did you get your car for real cheap . Cause its stolen.

 

or even worse, did you overpay for a stolen car.......

 

VIN Number is there, car is not stolen, i bought it at a dealer, and i have a carfax and a title. All vin numbers are there, only thing thats missing is vehicle id plate that shows all of the options the car has.
