This is the lightest pulley available on the market and it does have the strongest (bronze) bushing, where as the Unorthodox uses steel and RVM does not even have one.

For the price and the quality the others really don't compare...I'm not trying to sell the product to anyone, I just supporting a product I could actually say I belive in.

It's like 80 bucks less then the UDP and slight more then the RVM but has the bronze bushing that protects the pulley from corrosion. (correct me if i'm wrong on this)

When you install a new under drive pulley, its sits on the your crank shaft. This means it is spinning with your motor, how ever its also "sealing" your motor on the side. The bushing, whether aluminum, steel, bronze whatever metal, is keeping the seal with your engine block. RVM doesnt even come with one and just lets the pulley rub on the block, UR uses steel which is better then nothing and we use bronze, this metal is very strong and doesnt wear as easy as easy. The bronze is what is used on those big steam rollers, so it can handle what it does.

I'll post a pic of it installed so you can see what I mean to as where it sits.

They will be here friday, then I am shipping all the pulleys out.
Should have been here today, but I changed it to Aluminum instead of stainless steel to keep the weight down.

Thanks
Nick

2 questions.
1. the rings?? i thought you said they were bronze...

2. you are shipping the pulleys out this friday the 11th???? so does that mean i have to order one now????

1. Crankshaft bushing is bronze, the new timing ring that makes this pulley able to fit the VQ30 is going to be made of Aluminum to keep the weight down.

2. The group buy will be open for another week or two depending on if it keeps recieving orders. Friday is expected shipment date as my laser cutting guys told me they would be finished by Friday, so if they are on schedule I will be too.

And to those that pre-ordered, dont worry I havent forgot about you guys.

To anyone who has ordered though, if you want me to ship to a different address then what is on your paypal account, you will need to let me know. And CA residents must add CA tax.

Thanks

What about OEM size aluminum pulleys for VQ30s? Any chance of that happening anytime soon?

The group buy failed, everyone wanted dynos and I dont have the money to invest in making something and not be sure of dyno results then be out of a bunch of cash.

The group buy also consisted of all aftermarket pulleys, such as that to power the power steering and alternator, but once again everyone wanted dynos for that so nothing happened.

Sorry

No one has had problems yet. However I have seen an RVM pulley, it didnt have any crankshaft seal on it, and the part that rubs on the engine block seemed to be very uneven. Maybe take yours off and look at it to make sure its not damaged there, could be causing some kind of problem.

If you go onto www.altimas.net and visit the 2002-03 Engine Performance Forum, read up on the UDPs, all the members were pretty happy with the pulley.

JBL, I want in on this deal. PLease let me know payment information where I can send a money order, either by PM or reply. Also, include the total cost. I saw the original post on this UDP and you had mentioned that some new belts might be required for the 2002 Maxima. Please let me know what belts will be required to change out, and if you have the belts available, please quote me for a complete UDP including all necessary belts and shipping.

I am. I'll paypal you if you list a price.

Also, are you serious about manufacturing the other pullies? If so, you have one sale in the bag.
