....the car idle ruff know. It will bounce from 800-500 somrtimes it will drop to 300 or 400. Other than that it runs great (hard)
Any idea on what might cause the ruff idle?

Air leak after the MAFS? A bad pcv valve will cause idle problems, too.

I don't have SC'er but I had the same problem as you. It turned out to be a air leak after the MAF. The line that goes from the intake manifold to the brake booster had leak. Hope it helps.

thanks for the ideas, but the MAF is attached directly to the intake side of my SC and I don't see any leaks.
Any other ideas.

Since you have the MAF before the S/C...

When your BOV is open, it will 'bleed off' metered air, especially if your BOV bleeds air at idle like the Blitz (I heard the HKS doesn't). This would have the same symptoms as a vacuum leak.

on the 5th gen it goes in before the SC on the low pressure side. All I did is put in a CAI instead of the Stillen cross pipe.
And I am not sure my BOV is opening at all.
If I acccelerate in park with my hand in front of the BOV I don't feel any air come out of the BOV.

I'm not sure how the 5th gens are but what I state is still true... and "could" be a problem.

The BOV should close shut and not leak with any throttle (initially anyways while the car is not moving). When the vacuum drops the BOV closes.

:o)

Don't you have to reset the ECU after any emissions related part(s) have been replaced? I ignored that warning and my car ran like crap after replacing the O2s. I reset the ECU and it was fine. Good luck.
