Anyone Try Denso IRIDIUM Plugs on 4th or 5th Gens?

Anyone of you guys try Denso Plugs or you stick with the Nissan plugs. I've changed mine with Nissan plugs in the past but I was like what the heck the price is about the same. Any input on that?

Well the price is the same, but the Iridium's are actually only good for 30K miles. It states that on their web site. I have heard that Iridiums produce a better spark and may be better for NA cars. I don't know? I am running the Denso Iridium right now and I can tell you when I pulled my OEM plugs they were pretty much fried after 48K miles. So the platinums don't last the stated 100K miles. Really though I don't think you can tell a difference between platinum and iridium unless you are turbo, super, or nitrous.

You also have a choice with copper plugs. They are significantly cheaper, but need to be changed more often, about every 30K miles or so.

Just use copper plugs... $1.59 each... cost effective and they do the job well...
