man U must be a hell of a driver when I see some of those cars give me a good match on the road with my stick with Y-pipe and yours is auto. Yeah also U say U bet a 99-00 Malibu with Supercharger, exhaust, intake+ but U lost to a 99-00 Malibu with just Supercharger

 

Let's see, there is no way he will be a porche period. That car was not running him. All the others are very beliveable since they really aren't that quick anyways. I beat a few GT 96-98 stangs, 2 GSTs, never had a run in with a Contour SVT, or IS-300 or cl-s, but I would say it would be a close run. But no way a porche. sorry!

400hp+ monsters. depends on the year. I would have hard time believing anything past like 1996... But 80s and early 90's ones might be game. and the boxters dont have that much power, the S has an advantage in hp/weight I think.

of course the second the road twisted and turned, just about any year porsche would leave us behind, especially the early 911's.

 

I rented a Malibu not to long ago, they are pritty quick but I don't know where they have a S/C in em. Oh yeah also how do U know what mods some of those guys have? I mean when I race someone on the street, once I'm gone I'm gone, I don't pull over and ask YO WHAT U GOT? just wondering, not flameing U man, just wondering if Your car has something we don't? about the pictures that YJ posted about, Not cool I didn't know U were doing that, but if UR using someone elses pic then I think U should credit them for allowing them to post it on your site. whenever I post someones pic I say where I got the pic from if its someone from this forum so atleat people know I didn't steal the damn thing, I'm telling everyone openly where the pics are at even if its my own car. and GTR just photochoped my car a few days ago and I thinked him even though its my pics, but its his work. Get my point, I don't know U and I got nothing to chew U for, just pointing out some key things, I've been on the forum for a few years now and this is the most # of people we've ever had and sometimes things get out of control and people get the wrong impresson of others, I always try to keep my conversation on the froum where if I did **** someone off its not to a point where if that person meets up with me at the Maxima Meet that he'ld shoot me or something crazy like that. Again this is not a flame or a **** match, Just something to bring to your attention.

 

Are you serious! Why the hell would you be pissed if someone used a picture of your maxima!? That is the dumbest ****z I have ever heard!

1 - Why would he want one (your car looks bone stock)
2- Do you have a copyright or something on your images
3- Who cares....

I agree with YJ and Ali. I saw a few pictures of Kevin's car on MrBurner's site with no reference as to where he got the photos from. At least he doesn't claim the car as his own....

Man, everyone's loving YJ these days. I totally agree with him. There is such thing as intellectual property. I don't really know or care about the laws involved. Its just common courtesy. Even if his car is/looks bone stock, who cares? Its HIS car and HIS pics so that should be respected. Its not like he's asking for royalties, just a little recognition.

I agree that he should ask...but come on now! It is not a big deal. I would understand if you spent a lot of time putting together a detailed page about how to install a y-pipe with pictures and everything and he used them without credit....but just a few pictures of cars that he likes on the site....no way should he have to get your permission. It is common courtesy....but nothing to be totally pissed about.

Why is everyone taking everything personal? I dont think that comment was racist, I assume he was talking about the 'install' dialog that comes up, which can be annoying... YJ said something about seeplane.com, so MB followed YJ's links and was commenting in the same fashion. I just cant see where that's a race thing. MB could be a total racist for all I know, I dont know him and he may have said other things on other posts, but on this one I just cant see it.

I too would like to see my grocery-getter walk a 911T. Sometimes I get behind those at a stoplight and I get kinda 'hyp-MO-tized'. Those monsterous lines... just hoping he'll punch it and disappear over the horizon in a few seconds.

 

I had a Viper do that to me once. O well, What U expect. No he said a 911 Carrera not a Turbo. the Max is no match for the turbo, that car will hit top speed B4 I shift into 4th gear

damn, how long has this thread been up?

i put pics of other peoples cars on my site and say how good they look and $hit like that...i don't think that any one of you that has complained on this post has 1 pic on my website...i can understand if you don't want your pic on my website...but i am just showcasing different things from different maximas...so people that do visit my site don't have to spend all day looking to find all these other sites...i try to have as much info as i can on my site...i put cars on there that have stuff on them that my car doesn't have...like kevs body kit for example...i think it looks really good so i posted pics of it...not once did i say it was mine...i did not take credit for one picture on that site that isn't mine...if i do have any of your pictures on there and you don't want them on there, i apologise, i was just trying to help out people who loved seeing all different sorts of maximas and what they can do to them...if anyone wants a picture taken down, let me know and i will do it right away

now, about the races...first the porsche 911...both were pretty new on completely different days...and i don't know how i beat them...i think it was a lack of driver skill on their part...the one that i beat...we were tied up to about 70mph when he decided to give up...i won based on their driver error...i actually looked over at this guy in the porsche while we were going and i could see his whole body flinch evertime he shifted like he was doing it really hard...i actually saw his car go slower and i gained on it everytime the guy shifted but then he would floor it and catch up...but by the time he caught up, he would have to shift again so he wound up behind me...this was a fairly old guy looked like he was coming home from work...i know he was racing because i could hear the engine redlining

the second 911...we actually raced 3 times...first time he won then i won then we tied..so i counted it as a tie on my page...the time i won was the first race...i did a perfect launch and got the jump on him and he didn't catch up (he did stay about 2 car lenghts back the entire time, though)...the time he won he got the jump on me from a start because i got a really crappy launch and he stayed about 1 car length ahead the entire time and then the third time we were dead even until some old person in a buick decides to cut both of us off and make a left turn right in front of us...that was it...the porche turned into some parking lot and i had already gone way out of my way so i made a u-turn and headed back

note: never do i say on the site that i raced a 911 turbo...those things are too fast...even a crappy driver can kill most cars (unless he stalls it of course)...911 carrerras are very fast and i'm sure i would have lost both times w/ a good driver in the porsche

what next...the supercharged malibu...both cars i have listed are the same...the loss and the win...the loss was when i first got my car and i had my intake that later crapped out on me (i think i actually lost power from that than gained)...so the kid w/ the malibu got the jump the first time when i lost and we raced upto about 50mph...i started catching up but some guy turned right in front of him so the race was over...months later i saw the same kid w/ a senior in high school tassle hanging from the rearview so i knew he must be going to a school around here...we kept driving until the traffic cleared (went 60 blocks out of my way for this race)...so we both had 1 other person in the car and my friend was following in his car...me and the malibu were dead even upto 80 and after that i kept pulling on him upto about 115 when i put on the flashers and slowed down...then we raced again and the exact same thing happened...even to about 80 and then i pulled on him and won...then we got stuck at a light and i was revving on him..ready to do a really nice launch and he decided that he was done racing or something....i guess his friend was laughing at him or something...anyways, i know he had a supercharger first off because he had a sticker on the back window of each side of the car that had some lettering and then supercharged underneith..and second off because a stock malibu can't hang w/ me or even close...i could see his exhaust and i heard his intake

svt contour...i had 3 or 4 other people in my car (don't remember, it was about a month ago) and this guy was by himself...i was behind him at a light and he gunned it (probably heard my system and figured i might want to race or something) so i followed...at this point he was already about 4 car lenghts ahead...we were dead even upto about 70-75 and i kept getting closer and closer to his bumper...then he hopped into the left lane and turned

umm...boxters are easy to beat even stock...stick or auto max can win...a boxter s is fast, but i didn't race one...normal boxters put out less hp (217?) and weigh the same...i have beat a couple of them...max has to be modded to run w/ a boxter s...now have you heard about the new 911 s? thsoe things are gonna fly...anyways...

we can easily hang w/ mustangs last gen...this gen they wised up and they are really fast but if we are modded we can take them

don't remember what else and i apologise once again for the picture thing but if someone complains to me that actually has their pic on my site, i will take it down

why can't we all just....get along?
