Shocks and Struts I need em Bad!

Guys I was gonna get rims but my shocks and struts are so bad right now I think it could even damage my rims so Ithink ill hold off on the rims. Right now I wanna a performance ride. I hear many people talk about the Tokico and Eibach setup but what about these other companys I see on nopionline.com? KYB shocks/struts look good to me but Im curious on what lowering springs I should pick? Theres either Eibach, Sprint or Suspension Technique. Which is best and what different type of ride do these springs give you. In your opinion which springs do youy think I should go with?

Another side question Ive heard many peopel say when ur doing shocks and struts to do Strut Bots and so furth. WOuld this be a good idea since i have 130k miles and what other products might i wanna replace when doign the shocks and struts?

I have sprint/kyb's and i have had no problem for about a year now...i have a small thudding sound when i turn right on the front right wheel area...but i think thats from bushings or something. not the shock. so thats one of the cheapest drops... i dont mind the stiffer ride either.

DON'T GET TOKICOS!!!!!! I got Tokico blues and they went out in 5k miles. I don't think anyone's suspension is worse off then mine. I have bad balljoints, dead struts/shocks, worn control arm bushings, bad control arms, bad/worn hubs, power steering leak and a lot of other stuff. Other than the sway bars, I have to replace the whole front and rear suspension! I don't know if my experience with Tokico is uncommon but, I'd avoid them like the plague!

I searched the boards thoroughly before I decided on the Tokico's and some people had problems, but lots of people thought they were okay. Though, all I know is mine died in about 5k miles within around 3 months! I'm going Koni in a few weeks.

Are you sure that the Tokicos did the damage? Or is it just wear and tear before the shocks and struts even went in? I have had not problem while I was running them. I opted for the KYB REDS only because they are adjustable in firmness.

It was definitely the Tokicos. My stock struts/shocks were okay and I just got ST springs. I got new Tokicos and installed everything at once. It was only about 3 months and 5k miles later that they were dead.

Yeah, similar experience here. My Tokicos lasted under 2 years. PITA to replace. However, I sent them in for a warranty claim. I am saving up for... Konis.

Do you mean Koni Reds? KYB doesn't make an adjustable for our cars.
