go to www.autopia.org and look there. There should be a few different ways to go about it.

you can try what matt said but I noticed on some leather that changes the texture of where you scrub,

when I bought my black seats the leather was horrible, so everyday, I used Meguires gold class and rubed it in until I couldnt rub anymore in ( the seats would hold anymore and the cream wouldn't go away) I did this for about two weeks everyday, its also important that if you dont have tinted windows you try to leave the car in the shade. now once or twice a week I use gliptones conditioner and they stay nice and shiney (you can ask D-sta because he recently used the gliptones and can vouch for my seats)

my seats...

lemon softscrub without bleach. Then remove with a dry towel (use a white towel so you can see how much dirt comes off )
Maybe even repeat that process again if they are really dirty. Then get the excess softscrub off by going over the seat with a damp cloth and then a dry towel.
Next, condition the leather. I use Meguiar's One Step Leather Cleaner/Conditioner.
Take your time, and you will love your seats a lot more.

I even took them out of the car and did the work indoors
