bug n tar remover or nail polish will also work. just remember to clean off the area asap and go over it with a coat of wax.

Try 3M Adhesive remover >>

And then go with a wash and wax.

ive done it before. peel out the pinstripe (long and tedious task since the pin stipe kept breaking). then use some kinda solvent (3m adhesive remover, nail polish, bug n tar remover) to clean off the glue. then wash all the solvent off the car and rewax it.

Get some Goo-Gone at just about any grocery or general-merchandise store. It's natural (citrus-based) and safe on paint, fabric, hair, and just about anything else. Works really good -- I use it on my Alty to get rid of the masking tape residue from my homemade autox numbers.

I have been told that rubbing alcohol will work, since it is used for vent shades and things like that.
