Hmmmm is it worth the 66 mile drive

So,

I find myself working in Buffalo NY this week, when I remember that I want to do the Y-Pipe mod on my 2k1. I check out Budget exhuast's website and see that they are located in Burlington, ON. So, with a quick check on mapquest see that it is only 66 miles to Burlington from here, so, the question is.............are the savings over the cost of shipping worth the drive, or should I just have it shipped to my door and not have to drive in the crappy snow we have up here this week?

Guess that depends on what they quoted for shipping. No way to advise unless we know the $$$.

Dont forget get customs. Yeah, you drive through a toll area...but if you get searched, you might have to pay additional charges. I dont know for fact at all...just might want to research that part too.

To add to the confusion, you can get the Goods and Services Tax (GST, 8%) refunded, if more than $20 Canadian, as you leave Canada. I am told that in very limited cases you can get a refund of the 7% Ontario provincial tax. This all may be a wash if you still have to pay charges on the US side.

Can you arrange to have them install it? That would definitely make it worth it.
