Who has or wants JIC FLT-A2 coilovers?

Just trying to get a feel for the market on these bad dogs.

If you have them, PLEASE describe your complaints, compliments, setup, and describe your ride quality.

If you do NOT have them, what price would convince you to bypass the spring/strut avenue and buy them TODAY?

Definitely get them.. It's way worth the money. It's made in Japan so you know the quality is definitely there.. How can you beat having your car slammed 3" and 15 way dampening. Not to mention the included camber kit.

Sell some mods off and get them then.. j/k

The place where I went to install mines had installed the Teins before he did my JIC's. And his exact words were, "There are the best made coilovers I have ever seen and installed"

Get some SSR's or Volks.. There's light and forged..

The JIC's are like 10lbs lighter then the tokico/h&R's that I had.. So right there you can shed some pound off your car for more GO!

No complaints, good coilovers, 1 finger gap all around, at 10/10 the ride quality is still good..... stiff but good.

How much can you get them for?

I did mines to a 1 3/4 finger gap all around. And set 7/8. The ride quaility is pretty good. How's 10/10? Stiff enough where you hit a bump and your tail bone hurts?

Be prepared for a very stiff ride. 10/10 is not the best setting. It was something that I tried and stuck with.

10/10 is the front and rear dampening..

For the drop we have to use a wrench that come with the kit and turn the ring..

Seriously

Why aren't people BUYING JIC FLT-A2?

1)Quality?
2)Price? If so, how much would you pay!?!?!?
3)Purple springs?
4)Not out long enough?
5)What?

I think JIC has the corner on the TOP-END coilovers, but nobody is buying them. OR at least not too many.

I think I've seen FOUR 5th gens and 2-3 4th gens..

I need feedback people. Thanks!

The reason why you don't see a lot of ppl have it on the org is because of price.. Depending if you have hook ups or what not but most ppl in general get them for like $1500... A lot of members on the org don't have $$$ so they go the cheaper alternative.. That's basically the run down. But as far as quaility and what you get the $$ there's no arguement there

How is ride quality compared to stock? I could not stand my H&R/tok combo on the crap roads here in Boston. Not knowing a whole lot about coilovers I am in the cold on this one. I realize that you can adjust the hight and stiffness, but that is it. Could them possible yield a better ride than stock? By that, I mean dampening out more annoying bumps than stock?

That's the point I'm DRIVING at!!!!! People need to speak up about WHAT THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY for the JIC FLT-A2.

The FLT-A2 coilovers retail for $1950, so that scares most people INCLUDING MYSELF off. However, IF it was possible to get them for cheaper, say $1500 or LESS as you've suggested, WOULD PEOPLE BUY THEM. Or is $1500 still not in the ballpark.

I believe there are PLENTY of people that realize why JICs' cost more than a $200springs+$450AGXs+$100mounts/boots+$200camber plates = $950, however I think there is something holding buyers back.

Ballpark price? What price would you buy them for TODAY?

I'm just wondering how much business JIC loses because of their pricing games that artificially inflate the price to $1900-1950, only to sell them for $1500-1600. Demand should dictate price not the otherway around.

What price would you slap down your CC for TODAY?
