Usually 80 right on the nose...unless I am getting serviced. Then it is more like:

80.......70........60.........75..........87...... 96........110!!!!

99% of my highway driving is the same streatch of the 90, between Buffalo and Rochester.

I go about 85. I know EVERY spot cops sit between there, so I just have to watch for moving ones. Because of this I tend to go a little faster at night.

When my speedo reads 80 I an actually travelling at 75mph (checked with GPS and timed miles). Speed limit here is 65, and I always go 10 over if traffic flow allows me to do that without changing lanes or tailgating.

People all think I'm doing 80mph - a lot of them ask.

I set my cruise so my tach sits exactly at 2500 RPM's. Puts my speedo right about 71-72 MPH, needle straight up and down.

Fast enough to blend, slow enough not to draw attention.

Like Maximadave, I have friends (and family) that are cops.

I am doing what Tom does here as well. Except, 90% of the time I set it a 2550 rpm (74mph).
