Anyone ever use that product called restore?
I use to own a 92 Sentra GXE with 112K miles on it. I add a bottle w/ every oil change, just to see if it does what it claims. (Btw, I first start using it around 95k miles on the car)
Basically what it does its fill up scratch surfaces in the cylinder that the piston is moving up and down in, from your previous miles. Therefor, restore compression, and helps lubricates the engine.
OK, so here's my take on the product. The reason I tried this product was because my car has lots of miles and I know this car wasn't taking care of that well with its previous owners (2 older sisters, who travels long distance a lot with this car).
After "restore", I did feel the engine idles smoother and "maybe" I felt smoother acceleration as the RPM needle rises (Even when redlined).
I think you should try this product, ONLY on older cars with lots of miles. (Most new cars don't recommand engine additives or fuel additives)
BTW, my girlfriend's 95 Audi A6 2.8 use to burn oil, I thought I give her car a try with this product, well the results are good. It doesn't burn anymore after two oil change w/ restore.
So, yes I would recommand restore.
But remember, if you use good motor oil from day one on your car, then there's no need for this product.

thank you for responding and giving me good info. Would you recommend it on a 97 max with 90,000 on it?

Personally, I would just use GOOD motor oil instead of going the "restore" rout. Meaning Mobil 1 Synthetics, or other brand of Synthetic oil of your choice.
But, If you feel you want a "little more protection". Try it once with your next oil change, and drive around see what happens. Then you can make your decisions from there to see if you want to continue to use this product or not.
