2002 Maxima SE "Service Engine Soon" light turns on when gas tank is near empty. The light keeps on after I refill the tank to full. It does turn off, but hard to predict when. (Gas cap is tightened all the time).

Also, every time after filling the gas tank, I've to start several times before the engine can run. After that, car starts well until the next time of refilling.

Are these two problems related? What is your thought? Thanks.

 

This is a different one, take it in to the dealer have them fix it under the warranty. Lots of SES light issues with 02's and some 03's.
