anyone have Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires??

I am trying to decide on what tires to get. Someone suggested these tires and said he loved them. They are a good price($81)and have a nice tread pattern. http://www.vulcantire.com/ze512_t.htm
I read some reviews and there were ALOT of diffirent opinions. I wanted some info on how these tires are on a Maxima.
Thanks

I think that's the kind of tires I got. I got some kind of Falken's, but forgot exactly which one. The I do have are LOUD. I hate them for that. Other than that, it's okay, nothing to go woooooooo about.

Head over to www.1010tires.com and read the consumer reviews...
(I can't post a link 'cause the reviews are in pop ups)

I'm getting these put on in a few weeks... according to the 20 reviewers at 1010tires, these are very quiet with amazing traction (wet/dry) and treadwear - especially for the money. I don't think you can go wrong for the price.

Nice name, Guinness.

I have these as well, and although I do shift high, and have a heavy foot, these tires should have lasted longer and been less noisy (they forced me to upgrade my amplifier).

I am looking at possibly Nitto 555s next.

I bought a set a few weeks ago & in my opinion, they are very good tires. They're quiet and in the rain they held very well.

I did some reading before buying them and several of the reviews faulting them for being noisy were on the previous years "502" line. The 512 replaced the 502 and with it came some improvements.

Plus, at $81 each, either I got ripped or your stealing them. I paid $144/tire

I think you'll be pleased w/them...but you know what they say about opinions & a$$holes

Ahhhh, I went to vulcantire.com to price my size for the 225/50R17, they're $115/tire + $40 shipping. After adding road hazzard warranty and lifetime rotate & balance, the price would have been more than what I originally spent. I don't feel so bad now.

Don't worry, billyman - I think the price he's quoting is for a small size. I paid $145/ea for my 225/50/17s

He has a GLE so it would be for the 16" tires.
