Most I think stay in the .63ar to .69ar range.
Besides the exact specs, I think people who have the PFI kit need to chime in and answer.

You can choose what A/R you want, but .58 or .69 is good enough... really depends how fast you want the turbo to spool and how much top end you are willing to give up.
"Too big" is relative. For T3/T04E owners, straight T4 is too big... for straight T4 owners, T4/60-1 is too big.
I have a ceramic ball-bearing T4/T04E with P trim turbine wheel and .81 A/R. It can start boost at 2000 and hits peak boost at about 3400 (only noted in 5th gear). A normal T4 with .81 A/R will take longer to reach peak boost.
