1993 VE 5-speed with 39k!!!

Just had to post this here:

http://www.cars.com/search/used/cc/s...ston&src=&cid=

Not my car, don't know the seller....just happened upon it when doing my weekly check of local Maximas for sale. If the mileage is correct, then that car is the needle in a haystack: black, leather, VE, 5-speed. You wouldn't have to worry about the VTC's for at least 100,000 miles!!!

6 Miles from Medford MA. I just did the search 10 mins ago so I haven't called the guy (its almost 2 am). I might just take a look at it tomorrow for sh*ts and giggles. If you want, I can take pictures if I do decide to go check it out. I might have to dig into my "pay off school loans" money if it looks good enough

hmmmm....what if this was the guy from last week who just bought that 39k VE that had the oil leak ....it would be a coincidence if he was selling the car already cause it had some major probs. that would be a funny coincidence...anyone remember where he lived??

I guess that's me your talkin about. The oil leak isnt too bad, so I'm just gonna live with it and see if it stops. I wouldnt even consider selling this car, it's so much more fun than my vg auto BTW, I live in South Bend.

I got it for $5700. The salesman wouldnt go lower than that cause he spent 1400 fixing the VTC's, an injector, and the front brakes. He was asking $5997 originally.

Ouch...$800 for my 93SE with 117K . Of course I have a little more in it than that now but still way below $5500 and I put Katzkin leather in, Stillen kit, Stillen wing, 17s, e36 lights, Intrax with all new suspension components (all bushings-front and rear).

even after I paint it I will still be well below $5500 (I dont count my labor...just actuall money spent) and was actually considering selling it for around that after I am finished...Oh it is an auto though but I do have all the stuff to convert it to a 5spd. just dont want to.

Of course I think Jason got the best deal for $500 or whatever it was.

your car isnt fully loaded though unless its got auto climate control, leather power seats, sunroof, heated rear view mirrors (standard on 92-94), sonar suspension and digital dash with heads up display (not sure if the last 2 was still avail in 91)...in other words all maximas came with power locks, power windows, power steering, cruise and other things that would seem fully loaded on a lot of cars...I know you know this but just messing with ya.

jason N34JZ came out a champ, New car after getting it for like 500 bucks or so, new suspension , new paint, new kit, basically jay spent almost the same amount of dough $$ for his max and atleast he gets to show what he puts in, i am just putting my money inthis sietty maxima that looks like shiet and is still slow after spending all this money.. i am so mad btw i knew i was taken wheni first learned about maxima.org. I baught my maxima at a stealership in pa for 5500 or so, and iot came with like a 30 day warrenty, i thought i did good, i mean the maxima was in perfect condition, but after a few months of owner shp, i found the org and i kicked myself at what others had for a fraction of what i payed...

Now i need to vent, Thats it, my maxima is ogone, who wants her 2k and i am done, f it i cannot belive that this maxima still doesnt look good and i am spending everything i have and i am not even getting food on my table for myself..insurance is about 4 k for me liablity... wtf i am done,

settle down man. look at it this way you would have been completely happy with the car and the price you paid for it had you not found the org so even though you paid a premium for it...its still a real nice car. If its taking all your money just quit modding it and drive it. Modding a car is what will break you...I know I have had a number of projects through out the years and have spent way more on some cars than I should (cost me my first wife-not really but we did fight about it sometimes...she was a no good lying cheating ho anyway ). as far as insurance goes thats something you have to pay anyway so that shouldnt be considered unless your gonna sell it and not drive at all.

yeah it will happen every time. I cant even be satisfied with my wifes 92GXE and am already planning on getting some things for it when my car is done...front lip, put E36 projectors on mine and move mine to hers, Eibachs, 16" 2k max rims and maybe a type 2 wing since I love them so much. I am just glad I dont have to do any major body work on hers.

anyway just do a little along and dont go over board with it to the point that you cant pay your bills because you spent money on the car...that is unless you want to sleep in it
