if any info exists on this, please post away. even stories of successful home-grown devices are welcomed. i want to stiffen-up >>> i put a stillen FSTB on, and it eliminated some minor rattling and such, not to mention tightened up the handling.

I made a Rear strut brace for my 91 sentra. Given that it is a coupe with a better IRS, people say that a RSTB won't do much. In my case it made a bigger difference than adding a rear sway bar. The turn in was more responsive and the car rotated quicker. A memember on the se-r list made some brackets and put a template up so I just used his template for the strut mounts. Then I used a 5/8in turnbuckle and had it welded to (2) 1/2" square rods. Total cost including welding was $70, the turnbuckle itself was like $28! I'm happy with it though . However I must say that I have full urethane bushings in all of my suspension along with adjustable struts/eibach springs. So your results may vary .

buy a sheet of 3/4" mdf and screw it to the front of the trunk. I didn't really notice any difference in handling, as I put the system in the same time as I did my SFCs, but I can hear the bolts pop and creak when I go over bumps- which means the rear deck is flexing. tighten the bolts holding the wood down, and the noises go away. probably safe to say it's helping.
