Hey guys,
I have a 93 se 5spd and didn't want to put money into a short throw shift kit. As all you 3rd gen. owners know, that the 5spds have quite a long stick, you could almost stretch your arm out and use it as an arm rest!! So today i took my 25th anniversary shift **** off and measured down 1" 1/2 and hack sawed it off. Then i rethreaded the top and put the **** back on!!! costed me nothing. So those of you who wanta shorter shifter, but don't want to drop the $ into a new shift kit, give it a try!!
