Poll: 2k2/2k3 auto throttle lag

Okay, now I'm curious (and bored). Lots of opinions on throttle lag in 2k2 / 2k3s, and whether the ECU flash fixes it. I'm wondering if we're all experiencing the same thing, but describing it differently.

Did a test drive tonight, and find that I can press the gas pedal down, and the car won't immediately react. The question is - is this throttle lag or "drivetrain lag"? I have a completely uneducated theory on this, but let's see how your rides are reacting first so there's no bias...
