4th and 5th gears slip, but what about 1st and 2nd??

Well I have a new clutch ready to put in, and am just waiting on my backordered flywheel. Just curious as to why I can notice my clutch slipping in 4th and 5th, when I can't notice it in the lower gears?? In 4th if I go WOT it will jump the rpms up and then they fall back to grab again. Same in 5th. I haven't been able to get this to happen in the lower gears though? Any thoughts?? thanks!

(sorry for spelling errors... didn't have time to spell check, headed to see Anger Management! )

thats really weird, i would expect the clutch to slip in the power gears (1.2.3) and not so much in 4th and 5th...odd...

Oh well, at least you have the clutch waiting...

Have you seen the movie Anger-Managment yet?! lol, you should use some of the techniques on that movie, hilarious!

Thats what happens when your clutch is slipping. It slips first in 5th, then 4th, then 3rd, etc.

The reason is because of the gearing. As your clutch gets worse it'll slip in 3rd, 2nd, ..... At least your clutch is already on it's way

Anger Management has a Maxima scene in it right after the monk beating!

Anyway, thanks for the thoughts on my clutch. Basically what I thought. Just hope I have some time left on it for my flywheel to come in.
