Anyone know the size of the axle hub socket on `91 Maxima?

 

the axle nut is 36mm, you can get a big, deep impact socket for it from PepBoys for $10-15 or so

 

If you can't find a 36mm, a 1-7/16" is a perfect fit too.

True, true! Last year I had to visit Sears for the previously mentioned socket in 3/4" drive, a 5 inch extension, and a 18" slide bar. Total cost to remove one nut: $61.97 plus tax!

 

Thanks. I had a 32mm socket, so I measured it in inches - which was 41/32 with the nut being 46/32. Then with a bit of math came up with 36mm. I guess one works with what one has to work with at the time that one is working.
