Where is tranny speed sensor specifically located???

Where is tranny speed sensor specifically located???

Just wondering if I can replace it myself?

on my 92 5spd if i take off the driver side wheel its right in front of me at the bottom side of the tranny it is a round looking thing with wires coming out of it

on my 92 GXE, it's on the backside of the wheel hub and held in by two 10mm (?) bolts. you can follow its harness through the wheel well into the engine compartment. it is connected on the rear of the strut tower near the firewall.
