KYB GR-2 users.....have a Q

Hi,like most owners, I wanted to change the struts/spring for my 2k2
For the struts...I read that most recommend the KYB Gr-2
I know there's the tokico blues, and most find them cool, but I have doubts on their reliablity.........

Anyways...I can't seem to find Gr-2 that fits for the 2k2. (not online anyways..)
Are they modified? (like AGX from cattman?) Or can u just find them anywhere....??

Those who are using them now, can they please tell me the part numbers, and er..where u would recommend to buy them from.

And, if not too much of a hassle.....can the gr-2 users recommend which springs to go with them?

Thank you!

GR-2's

As far as where to buy, group deal going on right now. Click on the link. Read the posts in the lik for more info. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=207241

They do NOT have to be modified in any way. Mine bolted right in. Springs, according to how stiff a ride and how much or eveness of drop you want. A matter of personal choice. I personally chose Eibach.

H&Rs and KYB GR2 both give you a really nice comfortable stiff ride

I have the Maxspeed and GR2 combo. The ride is great and the handling was drastically improved. I would recommend this setup. You can get Maxspeeds off ebay for cheap so it makes it even better. Check out my homepage for pictures of my suspension. Page 3.

I plan on ordering the GR2s for my 2002 SE. I would like to know if anyone has lowered the front of the SE only. I like the stock ride height of the rear(I would like to know if 2000-2001 SE rear springs are slightly stiffer though), but I want the front of my car down 1.5 to 2". Anyone have some thoughts on this?

Well I lowered the front one day and did the back the next. The car, before settling seemed to lean forward and was more bouncy over bumps. You will want to lower both front and back. I have Maxspeed springs by the way.
