Is there a performance difference between a Federal and California emitions Max...??

Would a Federal or Cali.. be faster or would they be both the same, just different restrictions...???

I want to know too because when you buy a new car it has Connecticut and cali emissions option which adds $250+ to the price.

Vehicles with California Emissions have extra stuff on them to cut down on pollution. This actually reduces hp by a slight amount, so the performance would be slightly worse.

On Carpoint.com I don't see any difference between the price of the 2. On the dyno, there is very little difference between the 2.
